Gayesha is extraordinarily beautiful. As a child, she was cooed over, then later she was pawed over. As a child and preadolescent, she fought often with her siblings and clan cousins -- being somewhat of a tomboy. She learned to fight off unwelcome advances, while also learning to charm those she fancied. She saw what happened to "good clan girls" and knew she didn't want to be married against her will to some greasy old man or taken by force. She wanted things in her own time and choosing. So, as soon as she was old enough, she declared Aridani status.

Being in the temple of Vimuhla, she saw her chance to protect herself by learning the soldiers trade. She has trained hard in the temple, and she is well-versed in combat, rising to Kasi in the temple guard. During this time, she went on a few trading caravans, including a profitable trip to Livyanu.

When Prince Mirusiya was revealed, she went to Fasiltum and joined the Legion of Searing Flame. She was involved in the sieges of Sunraya and Tleku Miriya, and she survived the time on the Demon Planes. She rose to the rank of Kasi in the legion. For her outstanding courage and heroism, she was rewarded with considerable money and two steel swords. She also married a Vriddi husband, Tlegash hiVriddi.
